W Perfume

Three notes, and only three, make up W Perfume entirely, and Banana Republic clearly wanted something intimate rather than complicated for this particular understated release. Clementine alone carries the top, bright and immediately clean, the kind of opening that reads more like fresh fruit than typical perfume counters. Lily of the valley shapes the middle next, soft and floral, before musk grounds the dry down in warm, quiet depth that lingers for many hours. Understated daily elegance suits this floral Eau De Parfum especially well, minimal rather than showy about its own considerable restraint throughout. A single letter for a name, and three careful, deliberate notes to back it up, prove real restraint can say plenty entirely on its own.
